a Huge Success

On Saturday, May 25, 2011, the 5th Annual Diabetes Expo, sponsored by the American Diabetes Association (ADA), was held at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Over 10,000 people attended this day of free workshops, lectures, exhibits and blood tests.

Dr. Berkson was happy to participate as a lecturer for the 5th straight year. His topic was “Diabetes–New Medication.” Dr. Berkson also participated in the Meet the Expert Session. His daughter Meredith volunteered at the Long Beach Memorial Hospital booth co-sponsored by the Berkson family and Dr. Pedram Aslmand. She provided information on diabetes topics with Linda Kerr, RN-CDE.

On April 25th the 3rd annual Diabetes Expo was held at the Long Beach Convention Center. Over 8,000 people attended this day of free workshops, lectures, exhibits, and blood tests.

Dr. Berkson was happy to participate as a lecturer for the 3rd straight year. His topic was "Diabetes More Than Twenty-five Years, How did you do it?" and included a panel and audience members from Dr. Berkson's practice sharing their successful experiences with diabetes.
